BIOPSY
In order to examine the cells in a lab, it is sometimes necessary to remove a small portion of bodily tissue. The simple operation is known as a biopsy. The tissue may be extracted from an internal organ through endoscopy or with a needle inserted through the skin. During a biopsy, little skin lumps are typically fully eliminated.
